This workshop will demonstrate how to:
> Educate teachers and staff about cultural issues.
> Create an understanding of Aboriginal History through the eyes of
an Aboriginal person.
> Recognise and acknowledge the Native Culture of this country.
>Establish Effective arrangements for the participation of
Aboriginal students and community members in making decisions.
> Develop and Implement effective teaching and learning programs.
> Implement Culturally appropriate teaching strategies and
assessments methods to ensure participation of Aboriginal students and
staff.
> Incorporate knowledge from Aboriginal Communities in teaching and
learning programs by involving community members.
